My Story

Journey of self-discovery

Life is a journey of discovery of self, of purpose, of the unseen forces that shape our existence. From an early age, I grappled with the fundamental questions of identity and destiny, shaped by personal loss and the relentless pursuit of meaning. The moment I lost my brother, I began to question everything: Why him? Why not me? Who am I? It was a seed planted deep within, one that would later grow into a profound exploration of life's mysteries.

My path has been anything but conventional. Through meditation, past life regression, and the study of spiritual philosophies, I have sought to understand the intricate connections between the mind, body, and soul. I have looked into the depths of my emotions, examined the cycles of existence, and embraced teachings that span from Tibetan Buddhism to the Golden Rule, all in an effort to navigate life with a clearer vision.

At 38, my journey took a dramatic turn. An almost fatal accident that left me staring at a hospital ceiling, struggling to breathe, yet profoundly aware that I had been given another chance. It was not just a recovery; it was a rebirth. The echoes of a past life regression session, where I had seen myself perish in a similar accident at the same age, became undeniable. And yet, this time, I lived. That moment solidified my understanding that life is not just a single chapter, but a continuum, a series of lessons waiting to be learned.

Through physical endurance, from running marathons to pushing my body beyond limits, I have come to appreciate the delicate balance between strength and surrender. My journey has not been about finding one universal truth, but rather, embracing the wisdom that there is no right way or wrong way, only the way we choose to walk. And so, with each breath, each step, and each moment of realization, I continue forward, navigating through life with the knowledge that every experience is a thread in the vast tapestry of my existence.

My story, still unfolding, is a testament to the ongoing navigation of "my body" in all its multifaceted glory, a journey guided by curiosity, shaped by challenges, and ultimately inspired by the enduring power of the human will.

The Oak Tree

I received the following poem on a get well card while I was in the hospital recovering from my almost fatal accident. I've kept it ever since to remind me that life, and my connection to it, goes far beyond the limited five senses we usually rely on.

············ ✦ ············
A mighty wind blew night and day, It stole the oak's tree leaves away, Then snapped its boughs and pulled its bark until the oak was tired and stark. But still the oak tree held its ground while other trees fell around...

The weary wind gave up and spoke, "How can you still be standing, Oak?"

The oak tree said, I know that you can break each branch of mine in two, carry every leaf away, shake my limbs, and make me sway. But I have roots stretched in the earth, growing stronger since my birth. You'll never touch them, for you see, they are the deepest part of me.

Until today, I wasn't sure of just how much I could endure. But now I've found, with thanks to you.

I'm stronger than I ever knew.
